As they have been unable to take part in their usual exercise programmes, due to COVID restrictions, the nursing team has decided to try a new challenge. Over the last few months, they've been doing Couch to 5k, or improving their running distances and times, and have decided to run 80k between them, dressed in 80s fashion.
On Saturday 12th December they will be following a route, in staggered pairs, around St Ives. They will be joined by Annette Farrow, Lead Nurse, Riverport Medical Practice and Georgie Kirk, they are Andrea and Andi’s running partners.
Please would you consider sponsoring them: www.justgiving.com/campaign/8do80kinthe80s
Each person that sponsors and leaves full contact details in Justgiving, will be entered into a prize draw for a Xmas Hamper too!
Note from Annie regarding the Ellington group:
Just a quick update to inform you that there has been a slight change to the programme next week on Zoom.
We are delighted to have Alison Lusis along as our guest speaker. Many of you will remember the wonderful and delicious Pīrāgi she made for our Ellington fund raiser back in 2019. Alison has kindly agreed to share those baking secrets with us and will demonstrate how to make Stollen Pīrāgi.
I have it on good authority that Alison can bake and chat at the same time and she would like us to share our Christmas food stories with her whilst she rustles up her tasty treats.
What a shame we can’t taste or smell on Zoom.
Alison will be with us at 10a.m so please be there to give her a warm welcome.

We received our cheque from Buckfest today for which we are incredibly grateful. We were due to be one of their charities this year from them event but the event became a victim of Covid....so they did a sponsored bike ride instead. All fundraising has been severely reduced so we are so pleased they chose to support us!
