You may have seen our 'live draws' on this page periodically which involves someone in the nursing office, usually Amanda B, pulling some numbers out of a bag.....you might wonder what this is all about?!!
Well it's our 100 Club!! It's a monthly draw where you could win cash prizes all for an investment of £4 a month. With a lot of our regular fundraising unable to go ahead, this is an important income stream for us right now so if you haven't taken part but would like to find out more details please take a look here:
We would love to have you join us and any questions, please message this page!
The next themed HCCN Ellington Zoom Session will be held on Tuesday March 23rd 10 until 12. Our guest speaker will be Carol Pattison.
Carol is a qualified lecturer in horticulture having studied at Berkshire College Of Agriculture and lectured at the University Of Reading. Whilst living in Reading Carol also ran an organic veg-box scheme.
Carol now enjoys holding talks on gardening, being the treasurer of the local allotment society and getting extremely competitive during the annual local flower and produce show.
Carol’s talk will cover the theme of growing in pots: from house plants and their care and maintenance, to salads and herbs suitable for pots and containers. It will also cover suitable growing mediums and methods, to show that it is possible to enjoy plants without having to lug around 75ltr bags of compost or to be constantly encrusted in mud.
She will be happy to take your gardening questions afterwards.
We are opening our doors to anyone from HCCN. If you would like to receive the link please email firstname.lastname@example.org
